These premier quality crafted Highliner boots can often last for five years or more of rugged treatment, and can be repaired when needed, to last some more. If you're scaling the heights, you want a boot that provides superior protection and support, and that's where Wesco comes through with ten inches of durable full-grain leather topped by a rolled-leather facing to help keep the weather out. Solid brass studs and eyelets structure a full lace-up for firm fit. Contributing to your confidence in this rugged footgear's sure footing are a generous steel shank for solid support and a Stytherm heel counter with full-leather pocket to keep your heel in place for better balance. (Stytherm is the strongest counter material on the market. It's crush-resistant and resistant to water and perspiration.) There are even leather half-slips for added support in the arch.
A steel sideplate in the sole and recessed metal breastplate in the ample heel help guard you from gaff or splinter attacks, and there is a hard toe and extra leather side patch on each boot for further protection.
