The Chippewa 29437 10" Briar Pitstop Logger Work Boot is made with full grain leather uppers that have a high oil content to repel water. For comfort, the Kush-n-Kollar reduces strain and irritation on your lower calf. This is the padded area around the top of the boot. These boots are lined with durable Dri-Lex vamp and gusset lining. They have premium steel shanks for strength, stability, and arch protection for walking over obstructions on the ground, like, well, logs. The machine washable Body Cushion Orthopedic Texon insole is engineered for comfort and anti-microbial protection. It wicks moisture away from your foot. The Goodyear Welt one-piece soles are made with Vibram Yellow Plug rubber Tacoma-and are the most durable outsoles made. If your last boots wore out in the soles, or were not durable enough, or did not provide enough traction or arch protection, then these are the ones for you. Hi-Tech tread designs provide the most traction with the best durability. And they are replaceable soles because they are stitched-not glued. These rubber soles are oil- and slip resistant, and made in the USA.
