McRae MR85135 Men's Wellington Rusty Leather Wedge Work Boots are based on a classic design, but they're made for creatures of comfort.
Brown, laceless leather in a Wellington design gives this footwear its western look, but rusty full-grain leather gives it a modern feel. Resilient, flexible and easy to clean, full-grain leather is natural, non-processed, and made to take the strain of your job. PVC (polyvinyl chloride) storm welt wraps further protect the leather - and what's inside the leather - from Nature's worst.
Impact-resisting polyurethane, lighter in weight yet stronger than rubber, creates the softly padded insoles you'll find inside. This 12mm thick bed of cushioning helps ease the ache of strained muscles. Tempered steel shanks add support for your legs and feet, because you shouldn't have to do it all alone. Moisture-wicking fabric on the insoles pulls sweat away from your feet.
Goodyear welt construction attaches the crepe wedge rubber outsoles to the design. This secure, flexible stitching method can be repaired to make your boots last longer. The non-marking soles are to give you good traction whether you're walking a dusty trail or navigating a freshly-mopped floor. Oil-resistance keeps the tread tough against ordinary, everyday chemicals that often wear away your shoes.

Also there is a flaw in the stiching on the pull loops. They are sewed all the way across the straps which literly cuts the strap into causing it to break with very little pull. It should be sewed around the edges but not across the strap.
These boots are surprisingly well made and comfortable. They are a little wider in width than most, but the size is true. I am hard on boots, and these are holding up well (after 1+ month). The leather is taking all the scrapes and scratches quite well, and the soles are holding up the the constant walk-squat-twist-turn that my job entails. Thumbs up for me on these boots, just wish they were available in narrower widths!
