Thorogood uses durable full grain leather for the uppers. This tough material is ready to take a beating and will resist abrasions on the surface. The lower layer has moisture absorbing capabilities and breathability to keep wetness away. The 814-4364 work boot will keep you dry and comfortable for many days to come!
Cotton vamp lining on the inside of these Thorogood boots is soft to the touch but thin enough to give you that unlined feeling inside your work boots. A removable dual density Ultimate Shock Absorption footbed combines with Poron comfort cushion technology to give you energy return and help reduce foot fatigue. Your job is hard enough, let this Thorogood work boot take soreness off your mind.
No matter what great features a work boot has to offer, if it doesn't have essential support than it's not going to do you any good. That's why the 814-4364 is built with a fiberglass shank. You get outstanding arch support that doesn't compromise your mobility. Your movements are still flexible but with a little more support beneath them.
The 814-4364 uses legendary Vibram rubber soles. These soles have outstanding traction and excel in a variety of conditions. These non-marking soles are oil and slip resistant to keep you on your feet and in control. This is the perfect sole to have when your job takes you all over.
Goodyear Welt construction attaches the Vibram sole to the leather uppers. This method is durable and repairable extending the life of this product.

2. Proper size even for an elephant size like mine!
3. the crepe vibram sole one used to only find on moc toe boots (which they make as well)
I plan to keep buying these and I have the number and size written down so I can make repeat orders easily.
I keep two pair on hand one for casual dress and one for work. When my nicer ones get scruffy looking they become my work boots.
