These Bates Boots are certified by the USMC for excellent performance in hot weather conditions (and they're assembled in the USA). The brown uppers are a combination of Bates' easy-to-clean Warrior leather and 1680 Denier nylon. Warrior leather is dirt, oil and water resistant, and Denier nylon resists abrasion and tearing.
The Vibram rubber lug outsole is rugged enough to tackle any terrain. Thick and shock-absorbing, they protect your feet (especially the heel) from the impact of heel strike. Bates calls their shock-absorbing and foot-cushioning system "DuraShocks comfort technology." That pretty much sums it up--durable, shock-absorbing, and comfort-producing. The uppers, midsole and outsole are connected to each other using a durable, direct attach construction method. In this method, the sole of the boot is fused to the fibers of the upper. This produces a tough and watertight bond.
Inside, a breathable lining helps keep your feet cool in hot and damp conditions. Coupled with the Denier nylon panels in the upper, Bates Men's DuraShocks Hot Weather Combat Boots 30501 provide tough, durable comfort for all your rugged, hot-weather needs.
