These boots are made with Waterproof Ful-Grain Leather and nylon uppers and a 100% waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX lining to keep your feet free from moisture all day long. The unique outsoles are constructed with a 360 degree pentagonal low lug pattern so you can grip the terrain on all sides. The rugged outer lug pattern features molded siping that disperses water while providing maximum surface contact, giving you the most protection from from slips and falls possible from a pair of boots. Danner's patent-pending VIA technology is used in Melee boots, giving them V-4 abrasion rubber compound on the inner sides for precision roping control.
