These super tough boots are manufactured using a patent-pending outsole design. That means they're far better than your typical water shoe. Designed for above-water and underwater operations, they keep you steady with sticky rubber on siped sole units. Siped soles are a tactical rubber technology that keeps the soles from squeaking when they're wet. The jungle soles are also rugged and lugged for great traction and comfort on irregular surfaces.
Perforations throughout the jungle lug soles give the boots excellent drainage. Additional side drainage ports and mesh panels throughout the boots let water pour out instantly. These boots won't stay wet, and they dry off in record time.
The uppers and soles of these all-black, tactical water boots are made to be tough and lasting. Reinforced toes and heels surround parts of your feet to keep them safe. Constructed with durable, water-repellent treated material (DWR), the materials in these boots resist rotting. Additionally, the upper material is highly abrasion-resistant. The TPU it's made of resists shredding or cutting.
Several comfort features make these New Balance shoes a great choice for all-day wear. All the padding in the shoe uppers is constructed of reticulated foam. Reticulating keeps the foam from bending in a way that irritates your feet, or from bunching up. In addition to keeping your feet dry, the SEAL footbeds in these boots have removable shanks for additional comfort. Shanks are great for shoes that you'll be wearing on irregular surfaces since they force the shoes to consistently break where they should. But you might not want a shoe with shanks if you're also wearing fins. Removable shanks allow you to customize the fit of these shoes for any conditions.
