It helps that SWAT team members receive special training, but it's all their cool gear that really sets them apart, even in law enforcement. These Original S.W.A.T. 1234 Insulated Air Tactical Waterproof Men's Boots are definitely cool. They've got all sorts of features to prove it.
The all-black design is fashioned from waterproof leather that extends up over your ankles. Soft genuine leather bends and stretches to move with your feet. It stays flexible, because that's how your feet need to be. But leather is tough, too, and that's why it's worthy of these boots. Just pull the lace-up front tight, close the gusseted YKK zipper and secure the Velcro tab to keep your feet securely inside. Thermoplastic heel and toe counters guard the leather against scuffs and wear.
The waterproof leather keeps you dry, but just to be sure why not add another layer? Waterproof membranes line the inside of the leather to give you one more level of stay-dry protection. The membranes block moisture, they don't block air. That means heat will still naturally release, and cool air will flow in, so you don't get too hot.
You don't want to be too cold, either. The lightweight Thinsulate insulation makes sure you won't be. The 200 gram weight material is very thin but remarkably warm. Thinsulate traps your natural heat to feed back to you when you need it.
Steel shanks give your feet torsional support. The tough shanks lift and support your muscles, following the curves of your feet to prevent muscle pain and strain. Impact pain won't be much of a problem with these boots, either. The air cushion system and injection-molded EVA foam midsole create lightweight comfort under every step to absorb shock with the power of air.
Black outsoles provide the foundation for your steps. They're designed with an arch ladder tread that gives you extra grip on ropes. The tread is slip-resistant to keep your steps in place (and help you avoid falling). Oil-resistance keeps the tread tough against corrosive chemicals.
