Rocky Boots: Men's Lightweight Military Trainer Boots 1070

I'm liking theRocky military trainer boot 1070. I am a combat medic in the Indiana Army National Guard. I had up until the summer of 2011 trusted Danner desert boots on my feet while on duty. It took alot for me to cave in and buy a different boot. I did just that when i purchased the special forces boot by Nike. Literally at the end of a 3 week training period at ft knox my boots were destroyed. I had a chunk of my sole fall off and my eyelets came off as well on my right boot. I was angry at my purchase but still didint wanna give up on a lightweight military boot. I had been told Rocky had just developed a similar boot. Rocky is a trusted brand in the military for a while now and thought i would give them a shot to bring back hope in boots of this kind. I'm very happy I did. Ive had my Rocky Men's Lightweight Military Trainer Boots 1070 for over 8 months now and they're still going strong. I've done several ruck marches as well as field exercises with them on and they have not let me down. They have a rugged yet flexible sole, as well as being mobile and being able to shed water quickly. I have completely soaked them and they were dry the next day all day for duty. Best part about them is the ability to be able to sprint with them on. You will feel as if you have a cross training shoe on yet they still provide ankle support. I have to carry a ruck sack , a medical backpack, bulletproof plates, as well as an M-4 on my marches. Its almost as if they're broken in out of the box . I would recommend the Rocky Men's Lightweight Military Trainer Boots 1070 to everyone!
