The Danner 23600 Fort Lewis Insulated 600 Gram NMT Military Boot is made with a full grain leather upper and is guaranteed waterproof for one year with Gore Tex. This military boot is lined with Cambrelle nylon, and insulated with 600 Grams of Thinsulate Ultra to keep you warm in cold conditions-a thin, very lightweight insulation, Thinsulate maintains most of its insulating characteristics even when wet. Thinsulate Insulation is made up of thousands of tiny microfibers that trap miniscule pockets of insulating air space that provide the ultimate in cold weather protection. This boot has a fiberglass shank and stitchdown sole. The non-marking, oil-resistant rubber outsole is the Vibram 1276 Sierra, a self-cleaning sole that resists caking by dirt between lugs. The ANSI Z41 PT99 approved non-metallic Pro Tec toe is certified for protection against electrical hazard. And, this boot is made right here in the USA.
