Wigwam F2352 Light Grey Outlast Hiker Socks are made from 31% Merino wool, 23% stretch nylon, 20% Outlast acrylic, 20% Olefin for strength and wicking ability, and 6% Spandex. They have a 1x1 mock rib welt top to promote strength, and a 3x1 mock rib leg to increase its ability to stay up-that also adds to the clean finished look of the sock. The cushioned sole is dense, but lightweight. The numerals above (1x1 and 3x1) represent the number of stitches in the raised part of the rib, by the number of stitches in the recessed part of the rib.
The smooth looped toe seams are sewn so there is no excessive bulk to irritate your toes.
