The perfect addition to your Combat boots, these black, over-calf Military Socks are made from a combination of 77% exclusive Thorlon acrylic, 17% nylon, 5 % X-Static and 1 % spandex. That's mumbo-jumbo, you say? Ok, let's explain. Acrylic is proven to be one of the best fabrics for socks as, it wicks away moisture from your feet, maintains its shape when wet and has excellent loft and resilience (not to mention it's soft and comfortable). The nylon helps the fabric form to your feet for a perfect fit. A Thorlo favorite, X-Static is sewn into the foot area for permanent anti-microbial and anti-odor benefits. A little bit of spandex gives the socks some give for comfortable wear.

“Ah! Thank you very much for the explanation. Now that you mention it, I do remember your excellent customer service rep explaining that to me. Unfortunately, it had been long enough between that phone conversation and the email confirming the refund that I had a Senior Moment and forgot the details.
