When you're working outside in cold conditions, your feet should never feel so cold that you worry that your toes won't make it back inside. At work or at play, you need quality socks that keep you warm and protect your feet. Carhartt Arctic Wool Moss Heavyweight Boot Socks A3915 MSS do just that. They're specially designed for the needs of the cold-weather Working Man.
Knit of a blend of 87% wool, 7% nylon, 3% polyester, 2% acrylic, and 1% Lycra Spandex, these moss-green, heavyweight, Carhartt socks regulate temperature and cushion your feet. Wool offers superior insulating and moisture-wicking properties, so these socks' high wool content makes them an excellent choice for cold-weather wear. In addition, wool offers vapor transport and odor-resistant properties. Unlike 100% wool socks however, these Carhartt socks have added stretch, so they'll retain their shape and stay up on your calves.
Bulky socks can uncomfortably constrict your feet and make them feel cold. At the ankle of these socks, you'll find a non-terry and Spandex vent that reduces bulk at this joint, giving you maximum comfort. These Carhartt socks are the ideal weight to be worn under boots for an excellent fit. They also resist abrasion and wear because they have reinforcements at the heel and toe.
Layering several pairs of socks that haven't been designed for layering is just not a good idea in the winter. It doesn't keep your feet warmer, and can actually make you more uncomfortable. Buy a pair of Carhartt Arctic Wool Moss Heavyweight Boot Socks A3915 MSS and see how much happier your feet are when they're dry and warm.

Warm and comfortable...
I bought these socks to wear under my boots so I can keep my feet warm, dry, and comfortable as I work outside. I like the heavy wool material of the sock-they feel nice between my feet and the boots. They do sometimes get a little too warm and my feet get sweaty, but that's a minor complaint. Overall a good pair of socks, warm and comfortable for the money.
