It’s official. Just ask anyone you meet on the trail. Carhartt A3915 HGY Men’s Heather Grey Arctic Wool Heavyweight Boot Socks are part of a well-dressed hiker’s wardrobe. Why? We’re glad you asked.
The engineering that went into these socks demanded the perfect blend of materials. Carhartt found it with a combination of wool, nylon, polyester, acrylic and Lycra. Wool is a great natural fabric. The high wool content gives you excellent thermal regulation, vapor transport, and odor resistance. Each of the materials provides a feature that makes these boot socks the perfect beginning of your expedition.
They’re the perfect weight for comfort and warmth. The reinforcements at the heels and toes reduce abrasion and add to the life of your socks. The spandex and a non-terry vent reduce the bulk. That means they fit inside your boots better and won’t cramp your style. Wearing Carhartt A3915 HGY Men’s Heather Grey Arctic Wool Heavyweight Boot Socks will make your trek a lot more fun.

Customer Reviews For Carhartt Socks: Men's Grey Wool Blend Heavyweight Boot Socks A3915 HGY
I've used the Wigwam wool socks for a number of years and really liked them. I will continue to purchase those as well. But the Carhartt socks are a different animal. First, they have to be one of the most comfortable socks I have ever worn. Very soft and cushiony feel about them. Second, they do keep your feet (and calves) warm since they have a very high wool content. These socks are long (boot cut) so they almost come up to within a few inches of my knees. They have a snug fit so if you wear size ten and a half (or there about) shoes like I do, buy the large size or they may be too tight. If your feet are much largeer, go with the extra large. Yes, the price is a bit high for socks but these are an investment in warmth and comfort. Being Carhartts, I expect they will be long wearing as well. Added bonus - they are made in the USA!
