Obenauf's Leather Treatments: Obenaufs HD Leather Preservative 0102
Obenauf's Heavy Duty Leather Preservative is an industrial strength product made for protecting and preserving often expensive leather gear. Designed by long time fireman, Marv Obenauf, this product is ideal for long term protection of all kinds of leather (especially boots) used by fireman, loggers, lineman, electricians, plumbers, first responders, cattlemen, etc.,. It also works wonders on hard used backpacks, purses, briefcases and all types of footwear items as well, and we high recommend Obenaufs as one of the finest natural leather preservatives available on the market today.
We especially like the fact that Obenauf's Leather Preservative is a natural product, that contains natural oils suspended in a proprietary beeswax and propolis based formula. After Obenauf's is applied to your leather, the oils are time-released into the leather when it is flexed or warmed by your activity or body heat. Obenauf's remarkable "suspension release" found only in Obernauf's Heavy Duty Leather Preservative, repels water better and longer than other products that we know of. In addition, Obenauf's repels acids, petroleum, salts and other chemicals that break down leather. An especially attractive benefit for people working in industrial or farm environments where these kinds of conditions exist, thus helping prevent footwear and accessories damages of all sorts.
In addition, Obenauf's Leather Preservative allows leather to breathe while restoring and preserving dry leather to its former beauty. It prevents dry rot and resists mildew that can affect leather that has been subjected to the elements. It also resists premature cracking in areas that are heavily flexed. And best of all, Obenauf's Leather Preservatives contain no harmful chemicals that can actually harm leather-(many other leather products sold on the market todfay can have adverse effects over long periods of time).
To apply Obenauf's Heavy Duty Leather Preservative, place a small amount in your hands to warm it before applying to damp or dry leather. We recommend you apply twice to maximize protection. After application, use a hairdryer to accelerate the progress of oils penetrating into the leather fibers and pores. The resulting treated leather can be buffed to a shine, or polished over. This is one fine leather treatment product, thats can treat everything from leather furniture to your latest waterproofing project!

Note: Obenauf's Heavy Duty Leather Preservative is approved for application on water resistant Gore-Tex footwear items.
Customer Reviews For Obenauf's Leather Treatments: Obenaufs HD Leather Preservative 0102
Most professional wildland fire guys wear very high quality and price boots with an average range of around 500 dollars. We are hard on our boots and it is important to oil boots every other month or so, and its VERY important what you use to preserve your boots, Snow seal and other petroleum based oils are NOT good on your boots.
As far as I know this is the best leather conditioner on the market.
If you are having a hard time finding Obenaufs contact White’s boots, or Nicks boots, both in Spokane WA, these are the premiere hand crafted boot makers in the USA and will get you lined out.
“Thank you! You guys are great and we made you our favorite for the Wigwam husky socks we buy. We have shopped with "The Sock Company" online for several years. We finally got tired of them insisting that they had to ship UPS to our street address. We like getting things shipped to our PO Box. You accept PayPal, plus you have great prices, free shipping using the post office... certainly meets all our needs. We'll be back.
