These boots are styled with brown leather and contrasting black accents. The full-grain, tumbled leather is naturally soft and flexible, weather-resistant and tough. But Golden Retriever has added waterproofing protection anyway, because you shouldn't have to face any discomforts.
Thanks to the Dry Dawgs inner membrane, outside water won't seep in. Because the membrane is breathable, sweat and moisture escape. Either way, you stay dry. And when you're standing in the early morning cold, the 600 gram weight insulation keeps you warm. Thinsulate Ultra is a unique material that's light, thin and made to absorb and reflect your body heat.
The cushioned footbeds are removable and washable, so foot odor won't linger. Impact-absorbent polyurethane was used to create the midsole layer. TPU, thermoplastic polyurethane, foot stabilizers help keep steps steady. TPU is a tough man-made plastic that's abrasion- and wear-resistant.
The abrasion-resistant rubber lug soles are tested to meet Mark II slip-resistance standards, giving you grip on icy ground or wet floors. Oil-resistance protects the tread from corrosive chemicals. Tested for electrical hazard protection, the soles also absorb up to 600 volts of electricity.
The non-metallic safety toes are built into a roomier toe box. The toes aren't steel, and won't conduct heat, cold or electricity. They also meet all ASTM F2413-05 standards of impact-resistance.
