The Taibrelle lining is comfortable and durable. Because it’s melted fiber, and not woven, it won’t ever fray. It’s engineered to be highly permeable to air and water, keeping your feet more comfortable. It’s anti-bacterial and anti-static, too. Steel shanks give added support to keep your feet aligned and work to reduce foot-fatigue.
Speed laces let you get going in the morning fast. They also let you shed your work clothes fast so you can get to relaxing. The Goodyear welts are stitched and, after years of use, you can have them repaired instead of replaced. The one-piece rubber lug outsole has an aggressive tread pattern that gives you the bite you need on the job site. I like the heel, it puts your foot into a comfortable position, and they are comfortable for 8+ hours of standing at work. And also, because they're tall, they help support your ankles. I bought the wide width- just in case, but after the leather stretched as I wore them and broke them in, I probably should have bought the regular width, that's the only thing I regret. So if you don't regularly wear a wide, you don't really need one.
Before these, I had a problem finding workboots my size. Everywhere I looked they didnt carry small enough, so when I came across these I was delighted.
