These black boots are created with oil-tanned logger flame- and cut-resisting genuine leather. This tough stuff is more durable and weather-resistant thanks to the oiled finish, but complemented with white stitching for a fashionable appeal. White laces come standard to match the stitches.
Dri-Lex tongue comfort weave vamp lining surrounds your feet on the inside. All those weird words amount to one thing: this lining will help keep your feet dry and sweat-free through airy breathability and moisture-wicking. Inside, soft felt insoles will soften steps. You can also remove these footbeds for cleaning and odor-control.
The midsoles, made of bouncy rubber and pliable leather, cushion your feet. Steel triple ladder shanks surround you in support to reduce fatigue and strain in the leg and foot muscles.
Goodyear storm welt construction uses duarble, repairable stitching to bring the leather and soles together with a flexible fit. Top stitching secures the Thorogood Vibram fire outsoles even further. The soles are treated for slip-resistance to keep you steady. And they're oil-resistant to fight chemical corrosion.
Kevlar (the bullet-proofing material) threads create long-lasting construction for these Thorogood 534-6371 Women's 10 Inch Wildland Fire Boots. This footwear was made in the U.S., and meets NNPA standards for 1977 Protective Clothing and Equipment for Wildland Fire Fighting, and is UL certified for your fire safety.
