Rugged from the inside out, these Thorogood boots feature waterproof, flame and cut-resistant black leather uppers with scuff-resisting, shark-skin leather toes. Made in the USA and sporting Goodyear Storm Welt construction, these boots are sure to stick with you through thick and thin.
With strength comes protection. These rugged boots meet the safety requirements of the National Fire Protection Association, so you know you can trust them when things heat up. The I-Met metatarsal protection and the ASTM F 2413-05 M/I/75/C/75-rated steel safety toes, your feet will be well protected from falling or crushing hazards. Also, these boots feature protection from electrical hazards, including CAN/CSA-Z195-certified electrical shock resistance standard. And thanks to the non-slip, oil-resistant Vibram Fire rubber outsoles, not even a slick surface will be putting you out of action.
These Thorogood boots are just as comfortable as they are rugged. Inside you'll find a lining of Comfort Weave and Sympatex materials. The waterproof Sympatex barrier provides protection not only from moisture, but also from blood-borne pathogens. The removable polyurethane footbeds feature an added layer of flexible double rubber, allowing for even more shock-absorption and cushioning. The strong, steel triple-ladder shanks provide much needed arch-support and stability.
