The ankle-high design is made with soft, full-grain leather. The leather hasn't been sanded or buffed, so it retains all its natural strength and wear-resistance. Visible, white stitches add flair.
Nylon mesh lines the inside of each boot. The lightweight material, and its loose mesh design, breathes easily around your feet. Nylon won't trap heat, allowing it to escape naturally so your skin doesn't sweat. The Poliyou sock liners that soften your steps are part of the Hidden Tracks multi-layered comfort system. Poliyou is made with lightweight, shock-resistant polyurethane foam. The foam allows ventilating air to get under your feet, too.
Welt construction attaches the soles to the leather with stitches. The welt stitching creates a flexible, comfortable bond. Slip-resistance keeps the soles tough even on slick, icy flooring. The soles are also rated for resistance to electrical hazards. They'll absorb up to 600 volts of electricity, keeping you safe around open circuits.
