Dr. Martens Boots: Women's Steel Toe ESD Chukka Work Boots R14700200
Lots of the boots we sell here at WPS have serious attitude, but there's just something about Dr. Martens boots that we love. Maybe its their looks, maybe its their association with combat-boot-wearing cool kids, or maybe its the fact that they never sacrifice comfort for the sake of style. We're not sure exactly what it is, but we want Dr. Martens anyway. For shoes that offer serious support and soul, Dr. Marten's Women's Brown Steel Toe ESD Chukka Work Boots R14700200.
The dual-density soles of these brown work boots are both firm and flexible. In some places the sole material is extremely firm and supportive, and in others its more cushioning and flexible. Dual-density soles are great because they're made of all one piece, so don't have seams that will come apart, but offer the advantages of multiple softnesses. The mid-foot areas of these Dr. Martens boots offer improved rigidity compared to earlier models, so they keep your feet more stable. The bottom of surface of the shoes have a PVC patterned sole that helps with slip resistance.
Standard wooden shanks embedded in the soles keep the safety toe boots feeling great and are non-metallic. Shanks are rectangles of firm material that are embedded in the soles of these chukka boots to force those soles to bend in a comfortable manner. There's nothing worse than soles on your ESD boots that pinch your feet, and shanks prevent that from happening.
Inside the soles, these women's boots have sealed cells that contain pockets of air. These air-cushions pad your feet and absorb shock. The heels too help keep your feet comfortable all day, since they have an energy-absorbing heel strike area. A Smartmask Polyurethane cushioned footbed also offers additional comfort.
In addition to being flexible, the soles of these steel toe boots are anti-static (ESD), so they meet the requirements of many workplaces. Dr. Marten's attached the soles of these chukka shoes to the uppers using Goodyear welt construction. In this method, soles are heat-sealed and stitched to the uppers. Then the stitching is covered with a thin ribbon of rubber that keeps water and dirt out of your Dr. Martens boots. Goodyear welts are designed to be easy to replace. It's unlikely that the soles will wear out, but if they do, a cobbler can easily remove the welt and replace the soles. This feature makes the shoes economical, long lasting, and durable.
Tumbled, full grain leather gives the uppers of these brown chukka boots a great look. They're supple, flexible, and easy to clean. Leather is naturally resistant to water, oils and abrasions, so these shoes remain good-looking even over time.
Pull these women's steel toe boots on easily using their built-in classic heel loop. When the shoes are on, you'll notice that they fit really well. That's because the shoes themselves are built on a women's-specific last for an improved fit. A last is the form that shoes are built around in the factory. Some manufacturers just use one type of unisex form, but others acknowledge that women's feet are different from men's and make work shes specifically for them.
Three heavy-duty metal eyelets are all it takes to tie these Dr. Martens chukka boots up. They go on and off with ease and don't cramp your style.
The repetitive nature of your workday can beat you down and make you forget just how cool you used to be. Remember yourself with a pair of comfortable and cool Dr. Martens Women's Brown Steel Toe Chukka
