These athletic-style, gray and green Keen work boots are made with waterproof Nubuck leather. Nubuck leather is touchable and fuzzy like suede, but it has the durable flexibility of full-grain leather. Because it's waterproof, it's ready to wear indoors or out. The Keen.Dry waterproof membrane blocks moisture, but not air. The breathable membrane keeps skin ventilated and cool, but dry.
Speaking of cool and dry, the inner lining has hydrophobic/hydrophilic two-zone comfort technology. That means it resists and absorbs moisture to keep your skin dry. Around the outside of the boots, reflective webbing keeps you highly visible.
The metatomical footbeds are made with dual-density construction to give you two layers of softness. The lightweight EVA foam absorbs shock to soften your steps. The soft midsole layer is made with dual-density construction, too. That's four layers of softness.
Muscles need support, too. You'll get it with the torsion stability ESS shanks, designed to keep your arches stable and supported through the longest workdays. These Keen women's boots rest on shock-resistant, non-marking rubber soles. Made with contoured heel locks and a slip-resistant tread, the soles grip even wet, slick floors. The ASTM F2412-11 certified steel toes are made in a left and right asymmetrical design that matches the shape of your feet.
