Dark, reddish-brown leather creates the tall, lace-up style. The full-grain leather is strong but soft, used for protection as well as flex. It's also waterproofing to lock out moisture. Tough metal hardware finishes off the design. Eco Bamboo collars add another touch of style and moisture-wicking.
Inside, a waterproof membrane further blocks outside moisture. Antibacterial and airy, mesh Dri-Lex lining protects against inner wetness, wicking moisture away from skin. Contoured, conforming Ortholite creates the single-density footbeds that softly cushion and support your muscles.
Shock-resisting polyurethane was used to create anti-fatigue conical midsoles, a cushioning layer that protects feet from impact. Non-metal, very lightweight fiberglass shanks provide further support for your muscles. Goodyear welt cast bond construction uses secure, replaceable stitching to join the single-density polyurethane outsoles to the cushioning design.
The slip-resistant tread is only one of the work-friendly features you'll find with Timberland. The titanium safety toes, for all their light weight, meet ASTM protection requirements for hard work. Electrical Hazard protection soaks up electrical shock from dangerous open circuits. Oil-resistance on the tread guards against corrosive chemicals that cause wear and tear to your boots.

“I have just taken delivery of my Thorogood Unisex boots and I wanted to tell you how satisfied I am with them. I haven't used them in the in the snow yet but I feel certain they will work out fine. They are just the type of footwear I've been looking for. They have saved me from having to pay hundreds of dollars for foul weather boots and they are very convent to store and use. If I may....some advice: The catalog description makes no mention of the fact that they are overshoes. That's the reason I had to exchange them for size. Had I known they were overshoes I would have ordered the correct size to start with. Also, having to become a member to order be able to track my order was not made known to me until I filed a complaint. I must say that the exchange process was smooth and easy. Now that I know how to navigate the website I'll probably be looking to order from you in the future. Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.
