The laceless brown uppers on these Wolverine shoes are made with soft full-grain leather. The material stays pliant and flexible even when it's wet, because it naturally resists moisture.
Inside these composite toe shoes is wave mesh lining provides soft comfort but not sweat. Because it's mesh, the material encourages natural air flow that keeps skin cool. Even the PU footbeds are made in an air cell design to promote healthy air flow. Shock-resistant polyurethane absorbs force, softening and cushioning your steps. The anti-microbial mesh sock liners in these Wolverine shoes kill odors and bacteria. But dirt does happen, so the insoles are also removable and easy to clean.
EVA foam was compression-molded into the midsoles of these women's composite toe shoes to create a lightweight layer of pillowy comfort. Hand-sewn Opanka construction was used to attach the sculpted rubber outsoles to the uppers. Using double-needle stitching, the Opanka technique attaches the soles and sock lining directly to the leather. The stitching used on these safety toe shoes creates a highly flexible, mobile sole that moves easily with every step.
The rubber soles rebound from impact and soak up shock before it can get to your feet and joints. Rated for EH protection, the electrical hazard soles absorb up to 600 volts of dangerous electricity. Even the toes are tough, and rated for ASTM F2413-11 M I/75 C/75 safety. The non-metallic composite toes on these Wolverine safety shoes won’t conduct hot or cold, but they will stop dangerous impact from harming your feet.
