These lenses were made at the request of dockworkers and distribution workers who would frequently have to work in the bright sun and then immediately go into a darker indoor environment, like a warehouse or ship's hold. Those color-changing sunglasses wouldn't change fast enough, and they'd end up blinded or without eye contact in one area or another. Not anymore, dude. These special Fuel lenses look more or less like clear lenses with just a hint of grey at certain angles, but not enough to interfere with indoor vision at all light frequencies.
