Golden Retriever Boots: Women's 2531 Black Composite Toe Waterproof EH Hiking Boots
The old saying tells us that the dog is man's best friend. All that is changing thanks to these Golden Retriever 2531 Black Waterproof EH Composite Toe Hiking Boots for Women. These Golden Retrievers are a lot easier to take care of than any dog and they're definitely going to make fast friends with your feet.
The ankle-high uppers of these Golden Retriever boots are constructed with tumbled leather that has a textured, pebbled look. The rich detail is only the beginning. Full-grain leather resists wind and wear, and it stands up to the rigors of weather, so you can take these hiking boots anywhere. Full-grain won't rip, but it does bend and move to keep your feet flexing naturally. The leather cleans up easily and best of all, it's waterproof.
Is it waterproof enough? You can never be too sure about staying dry, and that's why these EH boots have yet another level of protection. They're made with Dry Dawgs waterproof membranes. The membranes are thin and lightweight, but tough enough to block water from getting to your skin. The membranes of these composite toe boots are also breathable and heat-releasing, so air can get in even though water won't.
Moisture-wicking Dri-Lex ECO material was used to cover the footbeds. Dri-Lex wicks sweat away from skin while the footbeds prevent bad odors when you wear these waterproof boots. They're treated with the Aegis Microbe Shield that actually blocks the bacteria that causes bad smells. And since the footbeds are made with shock-absorbent, lightweight polyurethane, they also give your steps the cushioning comfort they deserve.
More polyurethane was used in the midsole layer of these black boots to give you another level of comfort. TPU, thermoplastic urethane, was used to build the foot stabilizers. TPU has all the best qualities of lightweight plastic and shock-resistant rubber.
The abrasion-resistant NRLY rubber soles create a firm, impact-absorbing layer right underneath your steps. They're made with multi-directional lugs and Mark II-rated slip-resistance to give you traction anywhere and everywhere you happen to step while wearing these safety toe boots. Oil-resistance protects the tread from corrosive chemicals.
We know these are a pair of hiking boots, but you can wear them to work any time you like. They're made with non-metallic composite safety toes that protect you from impact and compression. The toe caps aren't steel, but they meet ASTM F2413-11 standards for protective footwear. Composite isn't like steel that may conduct temperature and electricity. It's much lighter, but just as safe for your toes. The roomy toe box of these Golden Retriever boots gives you plenty of comfortable moving room.
Golden Retriever 2531 Black Waterproof EH Composite Toe Women's Hiking Boots are EH-rated to resist electrical hazards. That means they're made to absorb dangerous electricity to keep you safer. We bet you can't find a reason not to buy these women's boots!

love at first sight...
I bought these to replace a worn out pair of hiking boots. I love the look, feel and features of these boots. Because of the all black color, I can wear them to work on rainy, snowy days. They run a bit small, your best bet is to buy one half size larger than your usual size. My thick winter socks fit in the shoe just right. Foot support is a big consideration for me and the Golden Retriever boots provide fantastic foot support, like you are walking on air. This product is a definite buy consideration.

Sturdy boots, good value...
These are heavy, weather proof boots with a non metal safety toe. I took the other reviewers advice and went a size up (I wear a 7, and purchased a 7.5.) When laced correctly, and worn with thick socks, they fit perfectly. They are more narrow at the top, so I am glad I went a size up. These Golder Retriever boots are heavy duty and are great for hiking and industrial jobs.
