These Golden Retriever Men’s 8970 Composite Toe Metatarsal Guard Work Boots are so strong and resilient and have such great stamina it’s like Golden Retriever put these boots through boot camp. These black boots are trained like soldiers ready for battle.
Loaded with safety features, every inch of your feet will be protected. For starters, these Golden Retriever work boots have an ASTM F2413-11 rated composite toe to keep your toes safe from falling and rolling objects. Composite toes provide the same protection as their steel toe counterpart without the added weight. Non-metallic and non-magnetic, these boots won’t conduct heat, cold or electricity. They’re electrical hazard rated which means they provide a secondary source of electric shock resistance protection against the hazards from contact with live electrical circuits, electrically energized conductors, parts or apparatus.
Composite toes aren’t the only safety features on these hardworking boots. There’s even an internal protective metguard. Metguards protects the upper foot (metatarsal bones) and toe area from injury caused by heavy falling objects. This protection is a must especially if you work with heavy equipment or machinery.
