The John Deere JD8373 Men's 8-inch Safety Toe Internal Met Guard Work Boots are a classic example of the quality craftsmanship featured in all John Deere products.
The John Deere JD8373 Work Boots feature an 8-inch dark brown, tumbled and oiled full-grain leather upper with the company log embossed on the side and a fabric logo at the top of the tongue. The lacing system features solid brass hooks and eyelets set with stainless steel washers. The lace-up style allows you to customize the fit and gives you great ankle support. The soft, high-abrasion, moisture wicking lining has received an Agion Antimicrobial treatment. An antimicrobial treatment will help you avoid such nasty, itchy problems as fungal infections like athletes foot.
The internal flexible metatarsal guard meets the ASTM Standards, while the safety toe meets the ASTM standards as well. The JD8373 Work Boots also are Electrical Hazard Rated and will protect you from shocking experiences. The tempered-steel shank will give you support and protect the tender underside of your foot.
John Deere attaches the heat-resistant combine II rubber sole to the upper using the Goodyear Welt technique. The Goodyear Welt technique is durable and repairable/replaceable increasing the lifespan of the JD8373 Work Boots. The sole is slip- and oil-resistant as well.
