The reddish brown leather is flexible, non-processed full-grain, a natural (and naturally resilient) material. The textured, tumbled leather has been oiled for added weather- and water-resistance, which only enhances the overall durability. Inside, moisture-wicking lining helps relieve your skin of unhealthy, uncomfortable sweat.
The cushioning insoles have been wrapped for added softness. Additional support is provided by tempered steel shanks, which lift your arch muscles to prevent fatigue and stain. Flexible Goodyear welt construction uses repairable stitching to bring the soles and leather together. The rubber outsoles are shock-absorbing and slip-resistant, giving you a firm, stable tread even on slick, wet surfaces.
Heat- and oil-resistant, the rubber soles stay durable even in the presence of corrosive chemicals. Because they're also resistant to electrical hazards, the soles also absorb up to 600 volts of harmful, hazardous electricity. The flexible internal metatarsal guards and steel toes meet ASTM safety standards for impact- and compression-resistance, protecting the tops and tips of your feet from falling objects.
