Waterproof Nubuck leather was used to create the stylish uppers. Nubuck leather feels like suede, but it performs like full-grain. Wear-resistant full-grain leather naturally flexes around your feet. Locking metal hooks and lacing eyelets keep the laces firmly in place.
Keen Dry waterproof membranes keep you dry. The breathable membranes keep skin ventilated, allowing air flow, but they won't let water to pass through them. Dri-Lex lining works to keep you dry even when you sweat. Made with hydrophobic/hydrophilic 2-zone technology, the lining will both repel and absorb moisture.
The footbeds are made in a dual density design. Two layers of lightweight EVA foam cushion and soften, and the metatomical design molds and contours to your feet. Made to be removable, the footbeds are easy to clean. Two more layers of EVA foam were used to create the dual density, compression-molded midsoles.
Keen key-tech interlocking torsion plates cover the full length of each boot. The torsion plates provide stability to keep your steps steady. Non-marking rubber outsoles are slip-resistant to further strengthen your steps. Oil-resistance protects the tread from corrosive chemicals. Contoured heel locks keep your heels steady, too.
Left and right asymmetrical steel toes protect you from impact and compression in a foot-fitting design.
