These brown, hiker-style boots are made with waterproof Nubuck leather. Nubuck is soft to the touch and fuzzy like suede, but it has the strength of full-grain leather. Durable full-grain is flexible, wear-resistant and unprocessed, so none of the natural integrity is lost. The leather's abrasion-resistant tough tec technology will keep your look sharp.
For added waterproofing, Keen.Dry membranes line the interior of each boot. The breathable membranes allow air to pass, but not moisture, so feet stay dry and cool. Dri-Lex lining prevents sweat from ruining your comfort, too. Made with 2-zone hydrophobic/hydrophilic technology, the lining both repels and absorbs moisture so your skin stays dry either way.
Goodyear welt construction joins the non-marking rubber outsoles to the design. Welt stitching creates a flexible, repairable bond. The shock-resistant rubber soles are made in a contoured heel lock design to keep your steps steady. Speaking of staying steady, the slip-resistant tread will prevent slippage even on slick floors. Oil-resistance protects the rubber from corrosive chemicals.
The protective steel toes are made in a left and right asymmetrical design that's made to fit the natural shape of your feet. These boots have also been tested to meet ANSI Z41 PT99 standards of electrical hazard resistance, to absorb dangerous energy and keep you safer.
