Keen Boots: Women's Waterproof 1010115 Steel Toe Leather Salem Boots
Do you cuss the weather man on the radio, scream at the weather app on your smartphone, and believe that meteorologists are really con men? It's not their fault that weather is unpredictable and constantly changing. Instead of being angry about the weather, fight it with these Keen Women's 1010115 Brown Nubuck Salem Mid High Waterproof EH Steel Toe Boots.
The mid-high style of these Keen boots is crafted with waterproof Nubuck leather. It feels like suede to the touch and fits softly around your feet. But don't let that fool you into thinking the leather of these steel toe boots has to be pampered. Nubuck has the strength of full-grain leather. It's waterproof, and it's ready to take on any weather. Yellow accents add pops of color.
Pull tabs at the back of these waterproof boots assist you in getting your feet inside. A locking hook system allows you to adjust the laces to get a comfortable, customizable fit. The all-leather uppers are made to take on all weather and all environments. Even the inside of these safety toe boots is made to handle the weather. They're lined with the Keen.Dry waterproof membranes. The thin membranes totally block moisture, but not air. Keen.Dry remains breathable to keep you cooler and less sweaty when you wear these Salem boots.
These all-weather work boots were made specifically for women's fit and feet. Inside, metatomical footbeds cushion and cradle your feet. The footbeds of these women's boots are made to match the curves of your steps, and they soften your stride with dual-density construction. That gives you two layers of lightweight EVA foam when you wear these slip-resistant boots. The footbeds are part of the overall lightweight design that won't weigh down steps or keep your stride too heavy. Remove the footbeds any time for easy cleaning and odor management.
Two more layers of airy cushioning help your feet absorb shock when you have on these Keen boots. The midsoles are made with compression-molded, dual-density EVA to give you even more airy softness. Rubber soles hold it all together with a firm, shock-resistant foundation.
The non-marking rubber is resistant to corrosive oils and ready to take on any environment. They can also take on any terrain. The tread of these oil-resistant boots is slip-resistant to keep your step steady. In fact, the Keen.Grip outsoles meet F1677-96 Mark II non-slip testing standards. The soles are finished with 90-degree heels that give you lift and better grip on ladder rungs. Tested to meet ASTM F2413-11 I/75 C/75 EH standards, the soles are even rated for resistance to electrical hazards. These EH boots absorb electricity to keep you safer while you work.
Speaking of safer, steel toes complete the design to give you protection from impact and compression. The steel toes are asymmetrical to meet the natural slope of your feet and give you roomy comfort. They meet ASTM F2412-11 safety standards to guard you from falling objects. Through the Keen.Protect system, the outsoles wrap up and over the toes to give you even more protection.
Fight bad weather with Keen Women's 1010115 Salem Mid High Waterproof EH Steel Toe Brown Boots and actually win the war against rain for change.

Most comfortable steel toe work boots i have ever purchased....
By: Carla Robinette
From day one when I took the boots out of the box they fit well and I began wearing them pulling 12 hour shifts and my feet did not get sore. I have been wearing them for two months now for heavy construction and they have been holding up well. Other boots have only lasted 3 months in the tough conditions I work. These are by far the best boots I have purchased in a very long time. I would highly recommend them to other working women. I purchased 3 pair of work boots in one month and the soles on my woolverens came off in one week, I was so up set. the other pair hurt my feet,(Carolinas). Good boots are hard to find.

Runs large, defect in left boot....
I had heard very good things about Keen's steel toe boots. The toe box is really large and the sizes run rather large as well. The right boot pinched and the left had a defect in the material in the inside of the toe box in both pairs that I received. I currently have Red Wings and wear a 6.5 in those. I wear a 7.5 in regular shoes and usually have problems with shoes not being wide enough. The Keens 7.5 that I ordered were the same length as my current boots but with all of the extra room, were too large for me. The ankles have a lot of padding on them, which I am not personally a fan of, but may be what others are looking for.
