Kershaw Knives: Tremor Speedsafe Folding Knife 1950
It's been called the most versatile survival tool, the one item you've got to have to complete your toolbox, a weapon of protection if you're getting attacked by wildlife -- and the only way to open the mail. It's the folding knife, and it's looking pretty good as the Kershaw 1950 Tremor Speedsafe Folding Knife. Lots of companies make knives. No one makes theirs like Kershaw.
The ergonomically curved black handle is designed to fit comfortably and securely in your hand, matching the natural slope of your grip. It's covered with textured G-10, resin-soaked fiberglass. The plastic-like resin creates a tough shell of protection around the lightweight fiberglass.
Use the SpeedSafe assisted opening to access the blade easily. The built-in flipper and handy thumb stud give you cutting control whenever the blade is extended. The blade is an easy-to-use 3 3/4 inches long, making the entire knife only 9 inches long. Close it up to a small 5 1/4 inches in length.
The blade is made with heat-treated 8CR13MoV steel. The tempered stainless steel is tough against corrosion and wear. It'll hold its edge after many different cutting and slicing tasks. A locking liner strengthens the overall design.
The Kershaw 1950 Tremor Speedsafe Folding Knife weighs only 6 ounces. It's light and easy to carry with the pocket clip. You’ll want to keep this versatile mail-opener handy at all times.
