Onion is personally involved throughout the design and manufacturing process to ensure each knife meets his personal high standards for performance and quality.
Specifically, the 1475 Storm II Knife features a contoured 410 stainless steel handle with black Trac-Tec inserts for a safe and secure grip under even extreme conditions. Users will appreciate the 1475s one-handed manual opening. All you need to do is push on the thumb stud and rotate the blade into position. A locking liner secures the blade in place.
The blade measures 3 1/2 long and the closed length of the knife is 4 ¾. The 1475 Storm weighs a mere 5.8 ounces.

Had for 10 years, great knife!...
I got this knife 10 years ago, and have used it often. The design is sleek and ergonomic and it beat Leatherman to the perforated look by 5 years. The black grip looks like it might wear out, but mine shows no signs of wear. The lever on the back makes it almost as quick to flip out as a spring assisted blade. I would recommend this knife to anyone.
