These waterproof Merrell boots might be called hiking boots, but they also make great winter boots, too. Made of Nubuck and suede uppers, they feature abrasion-resistant toes and heels for durability. Merrell's grey mid-cut boots are constructed using Strobel construction which gives them flexibility and comfort.
Speaking of comfort, these men's waterproof hiking boots have many features that’ll keep your feet happily comfortable all day. The EVA footbed gives your feet a pillow-like layer to rest on and is removable so you can wash it as needed. The footbed is treated with the Aegis antimicrobial solution to help prevent the growth of odor causing bacteria. The Merrell Air Cushion in the heel absorbs the shock of walking and standing on hard surfaces all day.
With a comfort rating of -25 degrees, these Merrell insulated boots will keep your feet exceptionally warm. The 200-gram Merrell Opti-Warm lightweight, synthetic insulation keeps your feet warm in varying conditions, while the Polartec fleece helps to retain heat.
Whether you wear these waterproof winter boots in snow or rain, you can be confident that your feet will stay nice and dry. A waterproof membrane wraps your feet in a layer of protection against the outside elements. The membrane provides an impermeable yet breathable barrier. It’s treated with Aegis antimicrobial solution to help prevent the growth of odor-causing bacteria.
Just because these cold weather boots are waterproof and insulated doesn’t mean your feet will be a sweaty, sticky mess. Inside, the mesh lining allows for great air circulation to allow your feet to breathe. Similar to the footbed and waterproof membrane, it’s treated with Aegis antimicrobial solution.
You’ll stay safer on your feet with the Vibram Geomorph Sole made with TC5+rubber which features a 6mm sole lug depth. All this fancy talk means the soles will grab the ground and work hard to make sure you don’t slip when you have these Merrell boots on.
