Milwaukee Boots: Women's Black Road Captain MB233 Water Resistant Motorcycle Boots
They say when you take someone's place that you've got big shoes to feel. But we don't believe you should ever try to fill anyone's shoes or walk down the same path they followed. When you're more likely to blaze your own trail than follow someone else's, you belong with these Milwaukee MB233 Women's Black Road Captain 6.75-Inch Water-Resistant Motorcycle Boots.
These Milwaukee boots are bold, stylish, and totally capable of helping you make really big footprints (not literally, of course). Pewter-colored accents pop against the black background of these women's boots. Use the side inside zipper to get inside and the full lace-up design to get a comfortable fit. A strap covers the lacing system to complete the stylish look.
The uppers, which stand 6.75 inches tall, are made from full-grain leather. This is a natural, non-processed leather that's made from whole hide. Full-grain is easy to clean and incredibly soft and flexible around your feet when you wear these water-resistant boots. Full-grain is also highly resilient and durable against wear and tear. The water-resistant leather of these Road Captain boots is durable enough to withstand Mother Nature, too. Full-grain stays flexible even when it’s wet.
Removable, easy-to-wash insoles keep your feet comfortable. They give you the softness you need, while the midsole layer of these motorcycle boots gives you support. The midsoles are specifically made to conform to the natural bends of your arches. They’ll keep your muscles supported to prevent painful muscle strain.
Like all Milwaukee boots, this pair is built with Freedom Flex construction. This design keeps the fit feeling flexible. These work boots feel broken in when you first put them on, even right out of the box. Some of this is thanks to the outsoles, which are held in place with welted construction. To create a strong bond, the soles are glued to the midsole layer. This bond is then stitched with moisture-resistant waxed thread to make the design of these black boots even stronger.
The non-skid soles are made to help your feet stay in place. The outsoles are resistant to acid and oil, and ready for any tough environment. So walk tall, and make big steps, with these Milwaukee MB233 Women's Black Road Captain 6.75-Inch Water-Resistant Motorcycle Boots.
These boots are great & seem very rugged. However, the "buckle" is worthless. It is a weak, poorly made snap on buckle that is nearly impossible to tighten in any useful way. This is my first day wearing them and I needed to tighten the ankle strap. I had no idea that this was just a snap on feature. The buckle flew off. I carefully tried to tighten the strap to where it needed to be and the metal that holds the buckle part to the snap stretched and the whole thing came apart. I got out my multi-tool and was able to reattach the simple mechanism but cannot tighten the strap where I want it. If the snap comes apart this easily hours in my first wearing of the boot (just sitting in an office)-how is it going to hold up to rugged day to day use?
I am very disappointed. I may go to a cobbler and have them install a real buckle.

Wearing like iron....

I lost one of the snap on side buckles and wish I could find out how to replace it. Can't seem to find any info that will help me order a replacement part. Any tips? The boots would last me another five years if I could find a way to keep the strap in place without velcro or duct tape.
