Pink accents add a feminine touch to the all-black design of the Lotus work boots. Visible white stitches pop against the material, a combination of tough leather and soft suede. The durable leather adds the strength of flexibility, while fuzzy suede leather adds touchable softness. The 7-inch uppers help create waterproof boots to keep you dry even in the worst weather conditions. Plastic eyelets, not metal, were used to keep the uppers tough and lightweight, that's why these are non-metallic safety shoes. The smooth plastic won't snag fabric or scratch hard surfaces the way metal might.
Abrasion-resistant PK material lines the Moxie Trades boots. The durable material resists repeated friction and rubbing. Lightweight Thinsulate Ultra keeps your steps warm in these insulated boots. The 400 gram weight insulation absorbs and reflects your own natural body heat to keep you protected against the cold, even in frigid freezing temperatures.
EVA foam was used to create the cushioning insoles of the safety toe boots. The lightweight foam resists shock to protect your feet from dangerous impact. Made in a removable design, these insoles can be taken out and cleaned any time. More EVA foam was used in the midsole layer to create a core or lightweight comfort that absorbs shock and stepping impact. TPU was used to create lightweight shanks. Plastic-like thermoplastic polyurethane is non-metallic, and that means it won't conduct electricity. It will support your steps. The shanks follow the curves of your feet to prevent muscle strain and fatigue while working in your new composite toe boots.
It all rests on shock-resistant rubber soles. Thank anti-slip tread pattern on these Moxie Trades boots to give you grip and traction even on wet, dangerous floors. Nice boots difficult to get on with regular socks......
These boots really take a lot to get them on with the tongue of the boot sewed to the boot for weather protection and insulation. I would suggest buying a 1/2 size bigger. If you have experienced knee surgery you might wish to purchase a different insulated boot. The pull or tug getting them on and off is difficult, unless you buy size larger.

Das wunderbar boot!...
After finally receiving my boots (manufacturers error, not Working Person's Store), I was truly excited about wearing these boots for the first time to work. They are quite comfortable; I've received many compliments on them; they're waterproof, insulated, with a composite safety toe (perfect for the plant I work at); but the only feature these boots lack is the electrostatic diffusion (ESD.) I would suggest using foam inserts to increase foot comfort (especially if you stand in one spot for a majority of your workday.)
