It's a paradox, but even in the fiercest of rainstorms, chemical and electrical fires can ignite and rage. When you've got to be on the job and the weather is nasty, don't risk wearing clothes that reduce your level of safety. For all-weather protection, choose this NASCO Jacket Hi Vis Yellow Sentinal Class 3 Flame Resistant Waterproof Rain Jacket 4503 JFY.
Ensure that you're safe on the job in this waist-length, hi-vis yellow rain jacket. Made of 100% Flame-Resistant (FR) cotton knit, it's soft and flexible as well as totally protective and waterproof. This NASCO jacket is resistant to oils, hydrocarbons, salts, alkalis and most alcohols, so the material won't degrade and reduce it's FR properties. This means that, unlike many other FR garments, this coat has a long life cycle. Also, this NASCO jacket is completely American Made so you know it's made with exceptional quality.
Give yourself the sure protection of a waterproof jacket that's resistant to flash fires, arc and flame. This flame-resistant jacket's tough material does not melt, drip, ignite, or break open even when you face a worksite emergency. The FR material minimizes heat transfer burns and is also chemical splash resistant. This NASCO jacket is rated for HRC 2 and is ANSI 107 Class 3 Level 2 compliant.
This bright yellow high-visibility jacket makes you visible even in low light. With 3M 2-inch reflective material on the front, shoulders and arms, everyone in your crew will be able to see you whether you're on the work floor or up in the machinery. If you do work up high, you'll be glad that this FR jacket has fall protection access. Don't bunch up the hi-vis jacket to get to safety equipment, just buckle yourself and the NASCO jacket into safety restraints.
A three-piece hood-in-collar lies flat and fits well on your head to shield you from accidents. The zipper on the front is non-conductive and closes with Velcro. Unlike many FR jackets which are too hot, this has a Nomex mesh ventilation system and Velcro tab wrist adjusters. Two large pockets with Velcro closures on the front give you plenty of room to carry gloves or tools.
When you work around electric machinery and chemicals, you have to be prepared for flash fires. Choose this safe and durable NASCO Jacket Hi Vis Yellow Sentinal Class 3 Flame Resistant Waterproof Rain Jacket 4503 JFY.

Great jacket for civil air patrol...
Bought the NASCO jacket and I'm glad I did. I'm a search and rescue pilot for the Civil Air Patrol, and I needed something both reflective and WARM for the flight line-- or for the rare opportunities when I'm out on a ground team site. After reading all of the reviews, I decided to buy this jacket. It just came in, and I'm very pleased. I normally wear a large, so I purchased a large-- fits fine, including sleeve length and girth. In particular I really like the lining, the storm flaps, the tight cuffs-- this jacket has been very well thought out and well designed. I'm especially appreciative that I can remove the lining and turn it into a straight rain jacket! I have WAY too many coats and jackets, so I am hesitant to buy another one when I can usually "make do" with one I already have. But this one will be my new choice for my Civil Air Patrol duties (at least when I'm not wearing my flight jacket...) Oh.. nicely packaged and shipped UPS ground, too.
Why Choose Working Person? Let Our Customers Explain!
I wanted to let you know how pleased I was with the products and service I received from your company.
I had a short notice request to travel from New Orleans to the Northwest Territories in Canada to inspect an offshore facility out on the sea ice north of the arctic circle. You can't get clothes suitable for that area in New Orleans at any time, and certainly not in April. I called your order line on a Saturday, and your ordering department spent quite a bit of time with me making recommendations and checking to see if the gear was in stock. He made sure that the order was packed for a Monday overnight shipment and I had my clothing by Tuesday afternoon. I left New Orleans on Wednesday morning.
This was a very important project for our company and I want to thank you for your service. I also want to tell you that the great representative you had for your company. I've passed on your name to our organization for other folks that might have to make a trip up North.
Here are a couple of pictures of me in Canada out on the offshore ice. It was -22 C (-8 F) with a pretty good wind (wind chill -32 C / -26 F). The clothes I got from you all kept me warm throughout the 7 hours I spent outside doing my inspection. In fact, as you can see, I didn't even need to zip my jacket. It was a sunny day, which helped.
Finally, the gloves you see in the pictures are not the ones I ordered from you. Your gloves were fine, and I used them when I wasn't physically working, but the work I was doing required a leather glove for hand protection. I procured a pair of thinsulate leather work gloves in Inuvik that worked great and were a good balance between insulation, protection, and manual dexterity. I don't have them at work with me, but if you are interested I can look at the tag and send the brand information on to you.
