Only the bottom part of this hooded, waist-length NASCO jacket is navy. The top part is fluorescent yellow, bright and eye-catching to keep you highly visible. The hood tucks right into the collar for easy stowaway, so you can use it or not use it whenever you like.
This fire-resistant jacket is totally waterproof, but it's also breathable. That means it will release body heat, so you won't feel suffocated by your own clothing. But why stop there? The fabric is also Electric Arc resistant and resistant to flash fires. That makes it safe for gas, electric and utility workers, not to mention those who work around oil and gas.
The lightweight material used on this NASCO jacket is ANSI 107 Class 3 compliant for working safety. It's electric arc-rated ASTM F1891 and NFPA (National Fire Protection Agency) 70E rated for safety. It also meets ASTM F2733 flash fire ratings. The lightweight, wind-proof material is comfortable to wear in rain or shine, because you need protection in all sorts of weather. Stain- and soil-resistant, this Hi-Vis waterproof jacket cleans up easily because you're bound to get dirty when you work.
For added visibility, 3M Scotchlite reflective striping, in 2-inch width, has been placed around the chest, over the shoulders and around the biceps of this high visibility jacket. This material lights up and reflects even in low-light, low-visibility environments. The non-conductive zipper front is finished with a Velcro storm fly front. Two side entry pockets and a tool belt slit with zippers add work-friendly storage space to this NASCO jacket.
