The Nautilus N1522 is not intended to be worn in heavy welding conditions or in foundries.
The full grain leather uppers on the Nautilus N1522 is water resistant and will perform in moderately high heat situations. The lining in these met guard boots will help to keep your feet comfortable by working to regulate the internal temperature. The collars are padded to provide adequate cushioning around your ankle to keep them comfortable and supported.

The only thing I have changed is the top eyelet. I have them replaced with a speed lace and I wish they just came that way.
The boots run true to size and the sole wear is pretty good.
