The Nordic Thinsulate Battery Operated Gear gloves require "D" cell batteries. New "D" cell batteries will last 5-6 hours. Fully charged "D" cell recharged batteries will last 2-3 hours. Keep spare batteries handy if you are going to be in the elements for longer than these times.
The heating element is safely buried in a channel located in the palm area. Invisibile to the wearer, the heating element is designed to warm the hand cavity and radiate out the fingers.
Designed to keep hands warm, but not hot the maximum benefit from these Nordic Gear Gloves will be obtained by turning the gloves on and off often. You should only engage the heat after you begin to feel cold to keep your temperature more evenly regulated. Do not allow the hands to become overheated.
