Of course, that won't happen if you're wearing National Safety Apparel C45UW32 Navy FR Ultra Soft Bib Overalls. If you're working with flame, your whole body should be protected. That's what these bib overalls are for.
These overalls are made with 13 ounce UltraSoft material, a combination of 88% cotton and 12% high-tenacity nylon. The combination of fibers creates a soft, tough garment that withstands high temperatures. You get the abrasion-resistance of nylon and the soft touchability of cotton in one great garment.
The shoulder straps are made for quick disconnect, and they can be adjusted at the shoulders to give you a comfortable fit. Hook and loop closures in the fly and around the calves make it easy for you to get suited up -- the calf closures allow you to fit these overalls right over boots. Even the closures are flame-resistant to keep you protected.
These bib overalls have an Arc rating of 20 cal/cm2, a mathematical measure of how much heat they can withstand before creating second- and third-degree burns.
