If you want to keep your things looking like new, use this Obenaufs Leather Preservative 1003 8 Ounces Oil is one of the best options on the market. There are many factors that can wear on leather and cause it to deteriorate faster, from water to simply living in a dry climate.
Warm, dry conditions can cause your leather to dehydrate and crack, but this preservative oil restores, so that it is soft and supple again. Some treatments can have harsh chemicals that may do more harm than good, but Obenaufs oil is a mixture of natural oils, waxes, and propolis (a type of natural resin). Use it on boots to repel water, use it to restore sun-faded car seats, or use it to keep your saddle and tack supple and polished.
With so many uses, this 8 oz. oil makes a great gift for any leather-owner. Do you have a leather-clad, motorcycle-riding uncle? A hard-working husband who counts on his work boots for lasting protection? And doesn’t everyone have that one, slightly-off cousin who dons renaissance-style leather garb for live action role-playing? Whoever you’re shopping for, Obenaufs Leather Oil is something everyone will love to use.
Give your stuff the best treatment possible with Obenaufs Leather Preservative 1003 8 Ounces Oil . Not only will you keep your things beautiful, but you’ll give them the protection needed to keep them lasting, year after year.
This oil keeps my boots going. I use 2 pairs of Wolverine boots and alternate each day. When they are new I use the Obenaufs Heavy duty LP (good stuff also). I use the Heavy Duty LP annually . Every 3 months I clean the boots and oil them with this product. This keeps them pliable, water resistant and reasonably clean. I also change the insoles and laces once a year. The Work I do makes the 'dirty job reality show' stuff look mild! Try working on 480v electrical standing in the water. At the end of 2 years I replace both pairs and my 2 year old boots are still fine for backups. If this is good enough for an obsessive person like me, I am sure it will work well for everyone else! Working Person's goes above and beyond for customer service and I buy the same boots from them year after year. Once I had a minor issue and they resolved it above and beyond my expectations. That is high praise from a picky individual! In the middle of the year I noticed that mt steel toe leather covering had been sliced right through to the steel toe- never knew I had a problem, but 4 of my toes are still there. Safety First!
