Caustic and water-resistant leather is used to construct the upper on these brown boots. The leather upper of these steel toe boots will provide excellent protection from oils and minerals and can absorb up to 30% of its weight in water vapor without loss of dryness. In addition, all-leather boots are less likely to change drastically in shape and flexibility over time, so they'll remain comfortable even after extensive use. Kevlar thread is used on critical wear seams for maximum abrasion and chemical resistance. It also features better protection against sparks and abrasion.
The upper of these safety toe boots integrates TPU SAFETYcell for maximum protection and durability. This fully integrated TPU shell offers enhanced abrasion- and cut-resistance from harsh working conditions. Bridging the gap between flexible rubbers and rigid plastics, thermoplastic polyurethane has high tensile, compressive, and tear strength and good hydrolytic stability. In addition, the material of these internal met guard boots is resistant to solvents and fungus attack and offers good flexibility over a wide range of temperatures.
An all-terrain, dual-density soling technology combines a soft, shock-absorbing PU midsole with a high-density rubber outsole. Polyurethane is a foamed structure which contains tiny air bubbles. This makes the material of these ESD boots soft and lightweight, as well as shock-absorbing. PU is also flexible, even at extreme temperatures as low as -30° C, when rubber and PVC tend to break.
The long-wearing rubber outsole is designed for superior grip and durability. Oliver's AT rubber soling technology offers a heat-resistant outsole to temperatures of 572º F and is resistant to mineral oils, acids, alkalies, animal fats, and oils. In addition, this outsole provides superior resistance to abrasion and cutting and offers excellent slip-resistance.
Meeting ASTM F2413-11 M I/75 C/75 MT 75 SD safety standards, this pair of slip-resistant boots can endure up to 75 lbs. of impact and 2500 pounds of compression. The NATUREform wide-profile safety toe cap includes a latex comfort liner under the cap to eliminate toe discomfort.

Very comfortable and long life...
These boots are very comfortable and have a long life. This is the second pair I have owned the first lasted twice as long as previous brands. They are fairly heavy but comparable to other Metatarsal and steel toe boots. I highly recommend them.

These are great boots if you are on your feet all day. These don't take long to break in and if you are looking for something to last awhile these are the boots to get. Would recommend these boots for the working person that don't want back pain. Some boots will be comfortable for awhile and then you have back pain and if you don't think it's from your shoes guess again it can be.
