These Original SWAT boots are made for slip-resistance to keep your stride steady in spite of treacherous terrain. The soles are tested to meet ASTM F489-96 standards for slip-resistance. They’ve been constructed with non-marking, shock-resistant rubber that resists oils to withstand corrosion.
And that's just the bottom of these tan boots. The uppers are made with a combination of leather and nylon to keep feet cool, protected, and ready to move. Soft suede delivers touchable comfort, while the 1000 denier nylon adds abrasion-resisting durability to these slip-resistant boots. The nylon releases hot air from inside so you stay cooler. Meanwhile, the leather is protected with a Scotchguard coating to protect the material from stains.
A wide gusseted tongue design keeps dirt and debris from getting inside of your uniform boots. Just tighten the laces to get a comfortable, custom fit. The lacing system is set on rustproof hardware made in a durable brass alloy.
Once your feet are inside these work boots, they'll be surrounded with softness. First, the tongue and collar of these men's boots are both padded with cushioning foam. Next, a moisture-wicking lining keeps your feet feeling dryer. The sweat-reducing fabric is treated with an Aegis antimicrobial finish to kill odors. Your every step will be cradled and comforted with Phylon EVA foam when you wear these anti-odor boots. It was used to create the lightweight, custom-molded midsoles. More EVA foam was used for the custom-fit, cushioning insoles. They're made in a removable, easy-to-clean design.
To keep your steps steady and your stride secure, these moisture-wicking boots are built with a Texon stability platform for torsional rigidity. Tough Texon doesn't weigh much, but it is durable. Texon flexes with your steps to keep them supported, not strained. Steel shanks support your arches. They follow the curves in your feet to prevent muscle pain and fatigue.
Custom-molded thermoplastic heel counters and toe boxes add more lateral support to the design. Thermoplastic is a lightweight plastic that has some of the qualities of rubber to give you shock-resistance. The heel and toe of these Original SWAT boots are stitched for added durability.
