Made of a 10-ounce, 100% cotton fabric, this coat cuts the wind and the chill of cold fall days. The sleeves are lined with a 100% polyester fabric, and the coat is insulated with a layer of 6-ounce polyfill (3-ounce is used in the sleeves to keep them less bulky yet still keep your arms warm). The coat's lining and interior fabric are quilted together to prevent the lining from shifting. On the outside, a sanded, cotton-duck shell provides a soft, durable finish. When the weather turns cooler and the leaves start to change, there's nothing more cheerful that a bright red coat. A black corduroy collar contrasts sharply and attractively with the coat's color.
This coat is cut with a classic fit and has a modified bi-swing back and articulated sleeves for added mobility. The seams and edges are double-needled. This means that if you snag a seam when you're working, and that seam starts to fray, the second row of stitching will hold (thus "double-needled").
