Dickies TC945 BD Men's Brown Sanded Duck Premium Coat the brown outer shell is made with 12 ounce, 100% sanded cotton duck. You might already know that natural cotton is soft and airy, breathable and lightweight. You may not know that cotton duck repels water, making it roll off...well, like water off a duck's back (insert groan here). The inner lining is made with 100% brushed tricot polyester quilted to 8 ounce polyester fiberfill. The quilting makes the interior of the coat even softer, so it feels like a cushioning pillow.
Even the sleeves are lined and insulated. Abrasion-resisting nylon (100%) on top of 6 ounce, 100% polyester fill makes the sleeves cushioned and comfortable. The all-over insulation keeps your warmth locked in. An inner drawstring in the waist allows you to tighten up the fit around the bottom to block chilling breezes.
Gussets, triangular pieces of fabric, have been added to the underarm area to increase durability. Mesh grommets (small holes) add ventilation. Triple-needle stitching also reinforces the seams, a sewing method where three threads are applied instead of one. A bi-swing back design and articulated sleeves keeps your arms and shoulder mobile, so you won't feel trapped by your winter clothing.
The heavy duty brass zipper in the front keeps you securely inside to keep you completely warm. Side entry check pockets and interior pockets provide plenty of storage.
