I bought a pair of the waterproof, insulated, 12 in. Georgia Boots to wear in the massive underground (UMWA) Harris coal mine in Boone Co., West Virginia. As a union fireboss, I walk at least 5 miles a night 300+ feet underground through some of the worst conditions anywhere. After 27 years and at 4 different Eastern Coal Corp. mines, these are the best boots I've ever worn. Thanks for making my job more bearable and comfortable, as comfort is a hard thing to find in coal mining.
