The navy liner can be used alone when you need lightweight coverage or it can be zipped into one of Filson's coats when you want maximum warmth. The Filson 092 NVY is made with 100 percent virgin wool in a durable 18-ounce fabric. When you think wool you might think itch but this Filson is soft and smooth. Plus, virgin wool can absorb up to 30 percent of its weight without getting damp.

The black plastic zipper gets you in and out quickly. Hand warmer pockets offer a safe haven for cold digits. The stand-up collar protects against the wind while the elastic cinch cord at the waist closes out the cold. Knit nylon cuffs give you added coverage. If you want to zip the liner into a coat, the button at the back of the liner neck secures the liner in place.
