Filson Jackets: Women's Green 20026 OT Waterproof Hooded Jacket
Women spend millions of dollars every year on diet products, low-fat foods, and exercise equipment. Then winter rolls around, and all that hard work is for nothing. The Filson Women's 20026 OT Otter Green Elliott Bay Jacket is contoured to flatter your shape, not hide it under a bunch of padding.
Constructed in a layered design, this green jacket is made with 86% polyester with a layer of 8-ounce 14% twill. The waterproof, breathable fabric is designed with sealed interior seams, so even the stitching is protected from wet weather. The adjustable hood on the Filson jacket can be zipped right off with the protected zipper. Lift the stand-up collar (which has a two-snap closure) to block chilling winds around the neck.
Brass snaps make it easy to adjust the cuffs. For an even more customizable fit, use the drawcord to make the hem and back waist more snug. The waterproof jacket has side-zipper hand pockets, double front pockets (with stylish pleats and one-hand snap tabs), and an interior zippered pocket add multiple storage compartments. The heavy-duty front zipper is protected with a five-snap storm flap closure.
Even in multiple layers, you'll still look like a woman when you wear the Filson Women's 20026 OT Otter Green Elliott Bay Work Jacket.

Lightweight but Heavy Duty All Arounder...
By: Colorado Cowgirl
Bought this for a trip to Iceland and Scotland and it performed perfectly. Warm, waterproof, plenty of large pockets, great natural green color (without logos all over it), high quality zippers and detailing, and best of all it is NOT HEAVY to wear or carry. This is a great layering piece and will be year-round useful in Colorado and doesn't squeak when you walk in the woods. The lining is very smooth, too, so it moves freely and doesn't collect animal hair (important on the ranch).
These run big so think about how you want to use it. I'm 5'4" 120 lbs. and the small is roomy on me. Sleeves are a bit long but I like being able to pull my hands inside when it's windy and cold.
Seattle-based Filson has long been a brand making superior quality products and this is no exception... the only drawback is the label says it's made in China.

Products that will last a lifetime...
My father was always into Filson goods and until a few years ago I never understood why. I bought this jacket for my wife and I have to say it is amazing quality wise. It is super thick, insulated, and from what I can tell incredibly durable. If you live in a cold climate and feel like getting something other than a Northface jacket then really consider Filson products. If taken care of properly they'll last a lifetime. I've had a jacket similar to this for a few years now and you can barely make out the wear and tear from it.
